EASTON -- Edgar H. Ashcraft, 74, died early Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at his home. He was born Sept. 10, 1934, in Doddridge County, W.Va., to Vais and Wilma (Halbert) Ashcraft and lived in the Rittman area since 1973.
LODI -- Ivan L. Fahler, 84, passed away Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, at his home. He was born in Strattonville, Pa., on Oct. 30, 1924, to Leroy S. and Mary Sleppy Fahler and was a 1942 graduate of Chatham High School. He was a lifetime resident of the Chatham and Lodi areas.
PANAMA CITY, Fla. -- Becki Linn Feightner, 47, died Saturday morning, Nov. 29, 2008, in Samaritan Regional Health Systems following a 1 1/2-year illness. Becki was born Sept. 16, 1961, in Ashland, and was the daughter of Thomas R. and Linda Lou (Blough) Long. She was a 1979 graduate of Loudonville High School and had lived in Florida since 1998. She had previously resided in Chillicothe, Ohio, Lawrenceberg, Ind., Milford, Ohio, and Milwaukee, Wis.

WILMOT -- Earl Rohrer, 91, died early Sunday morning, Nov. 30, 2008, at Walnut Hills Nursing Home following a brief illness. He was born in Canton on May 27, 1917, to Eugene D. and Emma (Raugh) Rohrer and married Grace N. Sliger on Aug. 17, 1941. She survives. He was a retired carpenter and farmer.
LOUDONVILLE -- Pauline Jean Ross, 88, died Saturday afternoon, Nov. 29, 2008, in Samaritan Regional Health Systems after a brief illness. Mrs. Ross was born Oct. 4, 1920, in Ashland, and was the daughter of the late John and Winnie (Bell) Schoonover. Mrs. Ross had lived in Loudonville for more than 60 years and was a 30-year employee of The Flxible Company, retiring in 1982. She was the oldest living charter member of Perrysville VFW Auxiliary. She was born in Canton on June 2, 1914, to the late Leo and Loretta (Obringer) Gaume. Chico's Farewell Tour in Full Swing
After 27 years as a member of the admissions staff at The College of Wooster, including 22 years as the liaison for varsity athletics, Ric "Chico" Martinez has been "benched." But the popular and successful recruiter isn't complaining. Martinez, who plans to retire next year, has been invited by Wooster's coaching staff to sit on the bench of every varsity team for at least one contest during what has been dubbed "Chico's Farewell Tour."
