WOOSTER -- Mahlon Karlen Honaker, 87, of Wooster, passed away Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, at Smithville-Western Care Center, after a lengthy illness. He was born May 23, 1921, in Alliance, the son of Howard and Hulda (Karlen) Honaker and married Ruth Chenot on Aug. 31, 1941. She survives.
New System Ranks Area Care Facilities

RITTMAN -- George W. Schweinsberg, 90, of Rittman, formerly of Orrville and Baltimore, Md., died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, at Autumnwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Rittman, after a period of declining health. Services will be Saturday, Jan. 17, at 11 a.m. at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville, with the Rev. Michael Conklin officiating. Burial of ashes will take place at a later date in Rittman Cemetery, where military rites will be observed.
Police seek crash witnesses WOOSTER -- Police are looking for witnesses to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of South Bever and East South streets on Sunday at 3:51 p.m.

MILLERSBURG -- Wallace and Florence Cullen, 4831 County Road 314, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Jan. 2. They were married in 1949 at Millersburg Lutheran Church by the Rev. Roberts. They are the parents of Pat (Tom) Swisher of Wooster and Larry (Marcene) of Millersburg. They have six grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
NORTH LAWRENCE -- Albert and Elaine Glick of North Lawrence will celebrate 50 years of marriage on Jan. 1. They are the parents of seven sons and six daughters. They have 82 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
WOOSTER -- Clayton and Joanne (Hartman) Jolliff, 8702 W. Old Lincoln Way, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Jan. 2. They were married in 1949 at Oak Chapel United Methodist Church by the Rev. Harrison E. Stout. They are the parents of David, Judy (Jeff) Frank and Caroline (Dan) Shadburn, all of Wooster. They have four grandchildren.
LAKEVILLE -- John and Doris (Wachtel) Paullin of Lakeville will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Dec. 30. They were married in 1948 at the home of the bride in Nashville by the Rev. J. Hubert Smith. They are the parents of Penny Blubaugh of Danville, Chuck (Lola) of Lakeville, Jane (Mike) Smith of Loudonville, Deb (John) Ridgway and Nancy (Louie) Viall, both of Las Cruces, N.M., and Dianne (Bob) Bell of Wooster. They have 12 grandchildren and 18 great- grandchildren.
WOOSTER -- Margaret Irene (Love) Bailey, 94, of Wooster, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, at Wooster Community Hospital. Entombment will be in Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, is handling arrangements. Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com.
WOOSTER -- Rosemary Francis Buchwalter, 75, of Wooster, died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, at Akron City Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Dec. 27, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Wooster, with Father Daniel Reed as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.

STONECREEK -- Margaret S. Dryden 83, 6651 Degen Road, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, at Union Hospital in Dover. Born Aug. 4, 1924, in Weirton, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Edward M. and Virginia (Campbell) Smith. She was a telephone operator for 22 years in New Philadelphia, worked at the County Extension Office, was a school bus driver for Garaway schools and retired as a dispatcher for Newcomerstown Police Department.
WOOSTER -- Paul Harrison Graham, 84, of Wooster, passed away Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, at Wooster Community Hospital. He was born July 31, 1924, in Ruggles, the son of Raymond A. and Audra I. (Bahn) Graham, and served his country during World War II in the U.S. Navy as a gunner's mate on the USS Terry.
