NAVARRE -- Daniel Paul Rohr, 18, of Navarre, went to be with the angels in heaven Wednesday morning, June, 25, 2008, at The Cleveland Clinic, surrounded by his entire family. He had been hospitalized since April 8 waiting for a heart transplant.

Big Prairie-Lakeville Alumni Banquet Honors Class of 1958

LAKEVILLE -- The 56th Annual Big Prairie-Lakeville Alumni Banquet was held on May 10 at the Lakeville School. President Forest Tate welcomed the 179 former students who were in attendance. The meal was catered by Penny Blubaugh and music was performed by Keep Right. The class of 1958 was honored and introduced by Carol (Bell) Adams. They had 14 members present. Members of the 1958 class were given a glass vase engraved with BP-L 50 years holding three red roses.

WOOSTER -- Henry R. Young, 87, died Thursday, June 26, 2008, at Smithville Western Care Center, Wooster. Memorial services will be Tuesday, July 1, at 11 a.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman.

ORRVILLE -- Francisco Badillo, 80, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at Brenn-Field Nursing Center in Orrville. At his request, there will be no calling hours or services. Cremation will take place and cremains will be placed in the columbarium wall at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, at a later date.

ORRVILLE -- A 54-year-old Wooster man was arrested on June 20 at 12:31 p.m. after reportedly assaulting an employee of a service station in the 1400 block of West High Street. Larry Weese of 504 North St., was arrested after he reportedly verbally abused and spit on an attendant at the business. He then left that business and went to another service station along High Street where he turned himself in to police officers.
