A SON, Kelsen Curtis, was born July 3 to Curtis and Jill Woods of Millersburg. He weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. He joins a brother, Cory Christian. Grandparents are Bev Large and Marilyn and Atlee Raber, all of Millersburg, and Gary and Deb Bucklew of Lakeville.

DOYLESTOWN -- A Celebration of Life service for Charlot C. Clark, 94, of Doylestown, will be held on Saturday, July 26, at 1 p.m. at Doylestown American Legion Post 407, 49 Black Drive, Doylestown. Charlot died Feb. 13, 2008. A complete obituary appeared in The Daily Record on Feb. 15.
WOOSTER -- Cecille D. "Sue" Collinsworth, 83, of Wooster, went home to be with the Lord, on Monday, July 21, 2008, at Wooster Community Hospital, after an extended illness. Private interment will take place at East Union Cemetery in Wooster at the convenience of the family.

Taylor to turn age 100 WOOSTER -- Mary (Firestone) Taylor will celebrate her 100th birthday on Aug. 2.
ONTARIO, Calif. -- Charlene Sue McComas passed away peacefully at her home in Ontario, Calif., early July 13, 2008. Born Nov. 8, 1947, in Wadsworth to Clyde and Viola McComas, she was the oldest of five children. Charlene graduated from Medina High School in 1965, and from Ohio Northern University in Ada in 1969, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Robert Cornwall Nicolay, 90, of Wilora Lake Lodge in Charlotte, NC, died on Sunday, July 20, 2008, at CMC Mercy Hospital. He was a native of Warren and the son of the late Hugh and Jane Nicolay. He lived most of his adult life in Wooster and attended Youngstown State University.

RITTMAN -- Janice F. Pomeroy, 64, of Rittman, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 21, 2008, at Barberton Citizens Hospital. She was born Oct. 5, 1943, in East Bank, W.Va., to Nathan and Minerva (Petrey) Johnson and lived most of her life in Rittman. She was a homemaker and formerly worked at the Ramada Inn in Wadsworth.
