Lun Wins Kingsway Spelling Bee
ORRVILLE -- Jonathan Lun took first place for Kingsway Christian School in the Association of Christian Schools International District Spelling Bee on Jan. 24. Fifty-eight students in grades one-eight from four schools participated. First, students competed in a grade-level spelldown. The second-grade competition lasted 46 rounds with Gabrielle Thomas, Kingsway Christian School, taking the top honor. The third-grade spelldown lasted 31 rounds with Jeremy Lun taking first place.
