Miller, 87, 1063 Schrock Road, Orrville, and formerly of Wooster, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 1, 2009, at Akron City Hospital, after a sudden illness at his home. Services will be held at Auble Funeral Home, 512 E. Oak St., Orrville, on Friday, June 5, at 11 a.m., with pastor David Greegor officiating. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Gardens near Wooster, where military rites will be conducted.

Martha and I had a stroll through our neighbor's gardens last night. At least once a year we trespass the backyards to check out what is in everyone's gardens. You can call us nosey ladies or you can label us just plain crazy but we like to see the fruits of our neighbors' labors. I am amazed with Martha's knowledge and every once in awhile I remember the name of a plant that she has forgotten. Not that she forgets very often but sometimes I surprise myself.
