Summary
Sometimes, without really looking for it, a topic comes to your attention. Last week I attended training where one of the general sessions for all attendees was on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth (LGBTQ youth). I then came home to a voice mail telling me about a gathering promoting equality for LGBT individuals that will be held in downtown Wooster on Sunday at 4 p.m. at the gazebo.
I have to admit, my knowledge in this area is lacking. I know there is great diversity of thought as to whether those who identify themselves as LGBT have chosen their lifestyle or whether they are born with their orientation.
