One of our favorite things about the Christmas season is attending our local elementary school's annual program. This year it was almost canceled due to ferocious weather, and then had to be relocated at the last minute from The Pier, where there was no heat, to the school that has less space.

As it turned out, there were so many warm bodies packed into the gymnasium we didn't really need heat of any kind. I've never seen such a large crowd turn out to see the kids sing their hearts out.
