Beaber Finally Gets His Feature Win at Lakeville Speedway

Summary


Johnny Beaber was making his fifth start of the year in the Loudonville Tire Winged Sprints, and after coming close several times before, on Friday he was the first to cross the finish line in the feature event at Lakeville Speedway.

Beaber looked strong in the earlier heat race as he dominated that race. Willie Keegan and Beaber were lined up in the front row of the feature with Aaron Middaugh and Duffy Smith in row two. As the green came out, Beaber blasted to the front with Keegan in the runner-up spot and Jamie Miller moving in a hurry from starting sixth to fill the third spot. Miller slid to a stop in the infield with mechanical problems on lap nine as Beaber had opened up a large lead.
