Not long ago, Andy Green wrote to say he had purchased an old postcard picturing a worker at the Woodard Machine Co. and asked if anyone had information about the business.
Wooster historian Harry McClarran called to say the Canton- Hughes Pump Co. from Canton moved to town in 1911 and erected a modern factory on the corner of Nold Avenue and Gasche Street. The company is listed in the 1915 city directory as being at 301 Gasche St.See the full content of this document
