LOUDON, Tenn. -- Clifford Lynch, son of Jacob N. and Edna C. Lynch, and brother of Otto E. Lynch, all deceased. He leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Linda E. (Petty) Lynch, daughter, Brenda K. (Lynch) Ernst; son, Jay Randall Lynch; grandson, Douglas R. Lynch; sister, Carol (Lynch) Nebergall; daughter in-law, Pamela (Springman) Lynch; son in-law, James Ernst; brothers in-law, Everett Nebergall and Silas Petty; sister in-law, Tammy Petty; along with nieces and a nephew.

Cliff, as he was known by friends, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was a member of Loudon United Methodist Church where he served on the Facilitating Team. He was a Chi Phi Brother at Ohio State University where he earned a B.S. in Education and Speech. His Master's in Educational Administration and work in the Ph.D. program was done at Kent State University. He served as a speech teacher at Massillon High and Assistant Principal at Lorin Andrews, Jr. High, both in Massillon, Ohio.
