Summary
I could tell it was going to be a tough day from the moment I awoke to take my son to his 7 a.m. band sectionals. Bleary-eyed, I steered my way to the kitchen where I saw my reflection in the microwave, hair standing on end, face puffy from lack of sleep. Not good.
Still dressed in sleepwear, I reached for my cell phone. But it wasn't plugged in. What could be worse than breaking down along an icy road without a cell phone?
