WOOSTER -- Wayne Center Ballet directors, instructors and dancers were recognized for their commitment to bringing quality ballet performances to the community during the 10th annual Ballet Recognition and Awards event held May 18 at the Wayne Center for the Arts.

Guest of honor was Roberta Looney who was Wayne Center for the Arts executive director from 1989-2000 and was instrumental in initiating this annual event. Looney spoke about the history of the ballet company and dance program at the Arts Center.
