ORRVILLE -- Dorothy Mae Hilty, 94, of Orrville, went home to be with the Lord, on Friday night, Jan. 8, 2010, at Brenn-Field Nursing Center in Orrville, following a period of declining health.
Dorothy was born March 13, 1915, in Orrville, the daughter of Samuel and Sadie (Burkholder) Zeigler, and was a 1933 graduate of Orrville High School. She was united in marriage to Kenneth C. "Ken" Hilty on March 14, 1936, in Smithville. He died July 19, 1994. Dorothy was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was the center of her life. She was a longtime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Smithville. Dorothy had enjoyed flower gardening and all family activities.See the full content of this document
