WOOSTER -- John G. Streeter, of Wooster, died Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at Akron General Medical Center.
He was born in Ellwood City, Pa., the son of John R. and Janet Streeter. He was a graduate of Ellwood City High School and Penn State University, receiving a bachelor of science degree in agronomy. John completed his master's in agronomy at Penn State and received his doctorate in botany and plant physiology from Cornell University. He moved to Wooster and began his career in the agronomy department at Ohio State University and the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center in 1969.See the full content of this document
