ASHLAND -- Leesa K. Kohn, 49, of Ashland, completed her work here on earth Thursday, at Hospice House in Ashland.
Born March 17, 1961, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of John and Dortha (Clawson) Peckham. She graduated from Akron University with a bachelor's degree and The Ohio State University with a master's degree in social work. Leesa was employed as a social worker with Catholic Charities of Wooster and had also worked for the Ashland County Sherriff's Department for 11 years. Because of her love of children, Leesa devoted her life to helping disadvantaged children.
