The College of Wooster's young golf team gained experienced with a second fall tournament, played Sunday and Monday, as the Fighting Scots finished 14th at Allegheny College's Guy W. Kuhn Invitational. All 36 holes took place at the par-72, 6,614-yard Country Club of Meadville in northwestern Pennsylvania.
Wooster turned in similar scores each day of 314 and 317 for a 631 total, while NCAA Div. II school Indiana University of Pennsylvania won the event with a 575, edging Allegheny and Ohio Wesleyan University, which were ranked ninth and 24th, respectively, in the NCAA Div.
