"April showers bring June babies," my husband chortled as he waltzed out the back door last Saturday morning.
"Yeah, well I was hoping for sunshine today," I called out. Despite the gloom, the room miraculously transformed into an intimate cafe, all pastels and posies, with card tables covered in pink and blue and green perched around the cozy kitchen fireplace.
