SMITHVILLE -- Carpentry students are taking advantage of the mild fall weather to build a bridge across a swampy area in the woods just west of the Wayne County Schools Career Center.
Horticulture instructor Gregg Gillespie provided information for a grant from Lowe's to update and improve the nature trail through the woods that was started in the 1970s by career center students. The path is currently part of the career center property used by the Smithville cross country teams.See the full content of this document
